Festival Program

The "Festival del Contrabbando culturale" runs from April 24 to May 3, 2025 and offers various events in Valposchiavo and Tirano. There will be lectures with expert speakers, two themed days at the key sites of historical smuggling, Viano on the Swiss side and Baruffini on the Italian side, two open-air concerts in the piazza, various guided tours and excursions as well as tastings of freshly roasted coffee. Some of the activities are aimed at families. From June to October, cross-border excursions are offered on request.
