The hike to Val di Campo leads through untouched natural landscapes as well as through alpine cultural landscapes that have been cultivated for generations. At the beginning, a great deep view opens up: In all its length and splendour, the Valposchiavo spreads out.

For the ascent to the SAC hut Rifugion Saoseo a road is used, which is not asphalted and is subject to a driving ban; in addition to the Postbus traffic, only the few landowners in the valley are exempt from this. Over flowering meadows and through fragrant mountain forest you reach Lago di Saoseo. The mountain lake shimmers in incredibly intense blue.

The highest hiking pleasure is offered by the mostly gentle descent out of the valley. A beautiful nature trail winds its way between the trees, crosses side streams that flow into the nearby valley river again and again, and runs through alpine pastures full of flowers. Small little souls and ponds along the way are suitable for playing and splashing around.
