The trail starts at 2000 m.a.s.l. The first part leads through a fairytale forest. Afterwards, you cross the meadows and Alp Pradel and then the historic path, which leads down to the valley with a considerable slope. Some pit stops are recommended, not only for photos but also to cool the brakes.
